The Commander of Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC) is the principal advisor to the Fleet Commander in Chief for submarine matters. Deterrence continued to be a cornerstone of U.S. military policy with emphasis on maintaining alliances and providing efficient defense in the Pacific.
This report provides a history of events concerning COMSUBPAC in 1991. It covers mission, tactical combat systems, operations and plans, material and logistics, supply and financial management, strategic systems division, communications and administrative and personnel.
