We are deeply grateful to Kristian Laemle-Ruff who very generously gave us permission to reproduce his photographs of Pine Gap. Details of these images and information on the antennas in the photographs are available in The Antennas of Pine Gap and in the image gallery from that paper.

Note that the small spheres across the upper part of these image are lens flares, an artifact of the camera pointing directly at light sources at night.

  1. Kristian,
I am putting together a local history book recording the history of a community picket protest against a coastal housing development at Sandon Point NSW 2515.
I dont consider it a commercial project as i will undoubtably be paying for a meagre, me and the library, print run.
However i was going to advertise it to the locals who participated and so might sell a couple more.

In composing this book i have decided to have an extensive context for the dispute as a part one. This will include a picture of Pine Gap illustrating the colonial status of this state. Yours photos are brilliant and i would love to use one of them.

Can you tell me if you need me to contract commercially with you for this?
Happy to do this so if it becomes a run away best seller you can be provided with some of the extensive profits.

    thanks for your work.

    regards
    Michael
