The Global Nuclear Futures Briefing Book aims to inform the debate over the future of nuclear power by including expert analysis from a variety of perspectives, pro- and anti-nuclear, government and non-government. It covers a variety of technical and policy issues, as well as country-specific topics.

Countries

Information on the nuclear weapons, energy, and nonproliferation policies of individual countries. Countries currently covered include Australia, China, Japan and the United States of America.

Policy

Policy aspects relating to nuclear power and nuclear proliferation. Current topics include energy security, nuclear economics, nuclear power and climate change, US global nuclear policy and nuclear proliferation.

Technical

The technical aspects of the nuclear power, the nuclear fuel cycle, and nonproliferation. Current topics include the nuclear fuel cycle, uranium mining and enrichment, nuclear reactor safety, spent fuel and nuclear waste.
