I appreciate very much your continuing to post interesting material on the list serve. I hadn’t heard of NLR before and found some articles referred to which I hadn’t come across before.
I’m tentatively planning to go to South Korea for about a week around the end of October and hope to get to Washington before then. I’ll let you know when I can be more definite. The purpose of my trip to Seoul is to meet with some of the South Korean NGOs who are working in/with North Korea. If you have some suggestions about whom to try to see, I’d welcome them once my plans are more clear and I’ll get back to you. I’m asking Tim (Savage) to help coordinate my meetings in Seoul.
Is there anything you can tell me at this point that might still be relevant about the meetings that I was not able to attend July 17?
Our daughter Adrienne died a few days later. The whole family was with her when she died- at her home as had been her wish. Early this next month there will be a brief ceremony of the planting of a tree in her memory on the grounds of the hospital where she had woriked.
