Framing Vulnerability and Adaptive Capacity Assessment              

The paper provides definitions and explanations of key concepts relating to adaptation. It introduces some of the commonly used methodologies for assessing vulnerability, adaptive capacity and risk. The appendices to the paper provide summaries of recent Australian vulnerability and impact assessments to illustrate some of these different approaches and the resulting outputs.

This book identifies risk, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change in urban centers.
