1. What would Australia Look Like in 2020?

2. Significant Impacts on US Transportation-Climate Change
The report focuses on the consequences of climate change for the infrastructure and operations of U.S. transportation. It suggests appropriate adaptation strategies and organizational responses. The report provides guidance for transportation decision makers on how best to proceed.

3. Stern Outlines the Key Elements of a Global Climate Policy
Stern is back with a new paper putting forward a set of proposals on global climate policy that addresses three basic principles: effectiveness; efficiency; and equity. On adaptation, the paper examines how adaptation assistance can be integrated into development spending so as to deliver goals most effectively without substituting for existing commitments.

4. Security Implications of Climate Change for West Africa
The report investigates the impacts of climate change on security in two different countries in West Africa: Ghana and Burkina Faso. It sets out scenarios for the future security implications of climate change and identifies particular flash point issues that domestic authorities and external actors should bear in mind when designing development programs.

5. Adaptation to Climate Variability and Change-India
These conference proceedings summarize the discussions held in New Delhi on ‘adaptation to climatic variability and change’. The conference brought together participants that included governmental decision-makers, physical and social scientists, and field practitioners. It catalyzed collaboration and clarified some of the core issues areas that adaptation strategies need to address.

6. Climate Change and Global Warming Conference-Germany
5th International Conference on Climate Change and Global Warming (CCGW-2008) will be held in Frankfurt, Germany from 12-14 September 2008. The Conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists working in the fields (theoretical, experimental and applied) of climate change and global warming. Papers may be submitted by 30 June 2008.
