Adaptive Management for Sea Level Rise – Gippsland Coast

This report presents the findings of Phase 2 of the Gippsland Climate Change Study. It outlines potential threats to assets and infrastructure in Gippsland and addresses issues like erosion and sand transport. The report describes, among other things, how the highly erodible Gippsland coast can be shaped by storms and other events.

Climate Challenge for California’s Public Health Sector

The report reviews findings on how climate change could adversely affect public health in California and which adaptive measures can be undertaken to lessen these effects. It uses results from a survey of local public health officials to assess the current state of readiness of California’s public health institutions to employ these adaptive measures.

Private Sector Activities in Disaster Risk Reduction

The paper provides new perspectives and insights into public-private partnerships based on disaster risk reduction work.
