8th Personnel Command Organizations and Functions Manual 1992-1994

The 8th PERSCOM mission in Korea was to provide support systems for personnel and soldiers in preparation for and in the event of armed conflict. The organization was activated in January 1982 in order to consolidate administrative support and increase efficiency. With pervasive tensions between North and South Korea, an effective peacetime organization was established that could effectively transition to full mobilization with minimum disruption to personnel support.

This report presents the official Organization and Functions Manual for the headquarters of the 8th Personnel Command in Korea for 1992.
