Jinsun Kang

Jinsun Kang is a Program Officer, focusing on NAPSnet and research and programs related to Asian civil society.

She graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), majoring in Chinese language and education. She received her master’s degree from Peking University in International Politics, and analyzed Chinese oil policy strategies towards the Middle East in her thesis. She is currently interested in Chinese energy policy, minority issues and security in East Asia.

While living in Beijing, she made efforts to experience and understand minority issues in China, inspiring her to work for not only theoretical, but practical change as well.
