KUROSAWA Mitsuru is Professor of International Law and International Relations at Osaka School of International Public Policy and Faculty of Law, Osaka University, Japan.

He received his Bachelors, Law, Masters and Doctorate degrees from Osaka University.  He also has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Virginia, School of Law.

He is the author of many books and articles on international peace and security, in particular on nuclear disarmament, including Gendai Gunshuku Kokusaiho (Contemporary International Law on Disarmament), Kakugunshuku to Kokusaiho (Nuclear Disarmament and International Law), Kakugunshuku to Kokusaiheiwa (Nuclear Disarmament and International Peace), Gunshukumondai Nyumon (Issues in Disarmament: An Introduction), and “Arms Control and Disarmament Treaties” in Encyclopedia of Violence, Peace and Conflict.
